Hey! I'll add you. I'm looking for new friends, too. I'm a full time working mom with a fourteen year old and a three year old, so I understand all to well how challenging it can be to find time and energy to put towards weight loss when you have people depending on you for literally everything lol.

    We can do this!

It's definitely a lot of work. I work full time, coach to sports teams and have a 3 year old. Right now I am finding about 20-30 mins to workout in the AM. Usually before anyone else is up. Though I am already exhausted I find that when I do my workout in the mornings I dont worry about how I am going to squeeze it in later. Another thing I have started doing is really keeping track of what kinds of food I am eating and how much.
It wont be easy but you can definitely find a routine that works for you. Maybe taking long walks with your LO would also be helpful. Good luck. You can do this!

    Welcome and good luck!
My best suggestion would be to keep it simple. Don't set yourself a bunch of rules. Just start with logging and hitting your calorie goal and go from there.
As mentioned above, walking is a great start to.

And read the Most Helpful Posts threads pinned to the top of each forum - lots of info and tips there

Thanks kimny72 yes don't want to burn myself out but really struggling to cook while working. We cook for scratch which is good but maybe love cooking a bit too much🀣🀣🀣

This is me, except mines only 14M/O. I do alot of meal prepping on Sunday so I don't have to think about breakfast and lunch for me or the kiddo every day.

I also agree with kimney72 above, keep it simple, just stick to your calorie goal and eat what works for you and your family. If you try to cook different meals for different people you will get in over your head fast! Toddlers can be notoriously picky, so stick to food you know he will eat to save your sanity, and use servings that fit into your goals, bulk up with lots of veggies if you need extra to feel full.

Hello Ladies and @tataedgarz! I am right here with all of you on this journey. I have a 4 year old boy and I am just now finally ready to work on bettering my health and fitness. Working fulltime and momming fulltime is EXHAUSTING! Literally seems there is no time in the day for self care. My work bought us all gym memberships to the rec center across the street from us so I have been going on my lunch breaks now and working out for about 40 min each day. This seems to be the only way I can fit it in. So far so good! Here to motivate and all motivation accepted! My biggest weakness still is food but I am making changes in baby steps. :) Looking forward to see all your positive health journey's!

Thanks @danifunsize. I know! Definitely not saying being a full time mom is any less hard than managing work and parenting but personally for me it got harder to manage my food and exercise since I went back to work. Great news about the gym. And well done for using your breaks to exercise. That is heroic, I can only managed home Zumba while yawning πŸ™ˆ

I have a 5 yr old girl and squeezing time between work is hard. I have lost 40lbs over the last few years and would like to lose 40 more. My goal weight is 120! Eyes on the prize.

Hi ladies, understand where you are coming from. I have 4 kids under 7 and over the years have put on weight with each pregnancy. Work from home and struggling to do exercise. This year I have decided no more excuses. I am trying everyday to walk on the treadmill for 30 mins. Feel free to add me. Need to lose 39 kilos

Hi all! I’m a fellow mom of three boys: 4, 2.5, and 3 months. I’m trying to get healthier to keep up with their energy! I just went back to full time work and my husband is at home with the kiddos. It’s definitely challenging to find time for everything!
