Offline mode

So as I try to search for foods to put into my diary. The search bar will pop up as saying offline mode I have tried turning off my cellular data and turning it back on turning off my phone and reinstalling the App I am praying that there is a cure for this problem thank you.

    Hello,

    Starting around 10am PST, Food Search went down. This may look like an "offline mode" alert when you are online, no search results yielding, or an inability to search at all. We are investigating right now and hope to have things back to normal as soon as possible. We're sorry for the frustration we know this causes!

    Unless you have already added foods before you need to be online to search i.e have your data switched on or use wifi.

    It is still not working for me on the iphone app but it works fine on the desktop website :)

    Me too. Quite irritating. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but it’s still happening.

    It isn't working, seems like there is a pattern of this happening every year. I am hoping they fix it.

    I am having this problem too. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and tried reconnecting the WiFi etc. Has anyone else tried something else that has worked?
    I can only get previously saved foods. :/

    I quit Weight Watchers to do MFP. Now I am wondering if this was a dumb move. :/ Does anyone from MFP read these posts and comment to try to help?

    I just waited to “chat” with Fitbit with 24 people ahead of me in queue on the chat function, to report the search food function not working. When it was finally my turn the screen cut me off and asked if I wanted to go a survey about the help I received. I didn’t get to chat with anyone. Has anyone gotten thru & if so, what did they say? Seems Fitbit would know to use these community posts.

    I’m also having the same issue. It is most frustrating! However, at least I know I’m not on my own. Will someone from MFP please comment?
