Body Pump

Just curious if any women do the Les Mills Body Pump classes. If so, what kind of results are you getting? I’m looking to lose about 10 pounds and get lean muscle....not bulky. I run steady state on the treadmill and do yoga. Wanting to incorporate strength training a couple days a week with Body Pump. Just so afraid of bulking my thighs and shoulders. Any advice??

I have done Body Pump for years and I think it’s unlikely you will bulk up as it’s low weight high rep.
I wouldn’t even describe our instructors as bulky.
I think it’s a good starting point for weight training and helps you understand the different moves and positioning.0 -
All muscle is lean. There is no such thing as fatty muscle.
As a female, unless your hormones are way out of whack, you simply cannot naturally build enough muscle to get bulky. But even a male won't get bulky through a program like Body Pump.0
