Daily Vitamin Intake

Was curious to know everyone's thoughts on what and how much vitamins a 39-year-old male should be taking?

I try to eat well and run a few times a day. I would say I eat "normal" (50% at home healthy, 25% take out healthy, and 25% take out unhealthy).

Currently, I have heard that I should be taking multi-vitamins, calcium, potassium, and iron.

Any other recommendations?

I wouldn't have any blanket recommendations for a 39-year-old man or anyone, really. It would depend on what you aren't currently getting from your diet combined with the recommendations of your doctor.

You shouldn't be taking potassium or iron unless blood work has verified that you are deficient.

I just take a men's one a day to cover my basis and also 2,000 IU of D3 because I was deficient and it is the prescribed maintenance level from my Dr.

Unless you have a medical reason to take a vitamin, zero. Waste of money otherwise.
