I am starting to believe that I am sabotaging myself, my goal has been to get to the 150's and everytime it looks like I am close I have a major backslide. I have been faithfully excercising and writing down everything I eat and still could not get below 160, now this weekend I ate like I use to eat, 2 helpings of ice cream. Good news is I felt physically ill afterwards so I know I won''t be doing that again, I am just so mad at myself that I did it to begin with. I know 150 is not to low a weight for me , why can't I reach it?????Just need some kind words and any inspiration will help. I do want to say that I can definitely say I feel good about myself , I can comfortably wear size 8 and I am beginning to see the possibility of abs, maybe I just need to rethink the 150? HELP

when you lost ten lbs did it ask you to reassess your numbers? I know when i lost over 10 it asked if i wanted to redo my info, and it took another 75 calories off my daily allowance, but you look great! dont sweat it too much............

I do the same thing, except mine is gettin past 145lbs everytime I do end up only staying there for a day or two then i end up eating something horrible for a few days and put myself right back where I was, Sucks cause it's only like 3lbs I am fighting with. Good Luck and if you figure out how please come message me hahaha
  • Ive lost over 40lbs. I let it recalculate every time, but it stays the same... 1640... Maybe its broken LOL..... For you, all I can say is, if you want to hit the 150 and youre stuck in the plateau, do more cardio :) Dancing is my favorite, and honestly, I burn more dancing for 60 minutes in Zumba, or doing a Hip Hop Abs video, than I do on the eliptical or treadmill... Just a thought..... Good Luck :)

i do the same thing! once i get down to 160 i start to slack off! my goal is 145. i know i can get below 160 cause i have before i just need some motivation! So im going to be your motivation! They say if you dont want to work out say you will for 10 mins and by that 10 mins is up your endorphins are up so you want to go longer. So try to do that. and before you eat anything if you feel hungry drink a full glass of water and wait about 15 mins then eat. you will eat less. and eat til your about 80% full because your body takes about 20 mins to realize its full and by then you would have eaten way past what you should. i dont mean to ramble on just trying to give you pointers! good luck you can do it!
  • I am not familiar with your story, but I would think that you have either hit a plateau, or your body just seems to be comfortable at your current weight.... No worries though - you can and WILL get through this!!! :D

For a plateau, I would suggest changing your routine - any way that you can.
Workout less/more (depends on what you currently do), change the style of exercising that you usually do, comsume the majority of your calories at a different time of day, stagger your calories over a few days (if you usually eat 1500 a day, then try to each 1200 one day and 1800 the next...) Try to aim at drinking 1 or 2 glasses of water more than usual...

And most importantly, try to be patient... I know how hard that is though!
Try to forget the scale for a week or two, and focus on yourself. Make yourself feel good in other ways - go to the spa, get a massage, have a bubble bath, read a book, get a new hair style, buy a new shirt... whatever would you make you feel great abour who you are!!! ;)

    GOOD LUCK!!

Your not alone, I just want to break 120. I was finally only 3.8 lbs away and I did a complete 180 over the weekend and ate such crap and didn't exercise and now I'm 5.8 lbs away from breaking that next barrier and I have no idea why I did it :(
