My 14-year-old son, who can be freaking annoying sometimes! I can't wait until he can drive himself to the gym!1

Whoever offers me my squat cage they were using when I walk into the gym and stays out of my way is my buddy.

No photos, but at a particular time of year, we get pretty little dragonflies, only around half an inch long, that will perch on a hat or t-shirt back for long periods as we row on the river . . . sometimes in multiples, even.
They freak some people out, but I think they're kinda cute.4 -

Our three cats have always been enamored by exercise of any kind. Weightlifting, workout videos, yoga, or foam rolling; doesn't matter they want to be around. As soon as you get down on the floor to do anything they're all up in your face. One of them in particular likes when I lift; he loves going in the basement and it always down for a belly rub between sets. One of the many reasons I enjoy working out at home.8

The turkey vultures are not perturbed in the least when I run by them.8 -

Based on the pic, that's a millipede not a centipede. A minor difference but you can see that the legs are grouped in two's rather than singly. Fun buddies nonetheless3 -

Cool! I didn’t know that, very interesting! I bet every day is “leg day” for a millipede5 -

Looks like you’re a fellow Houstonian?! Hi!!0 -
My almost 9 year old. I coach her roller derby team, we rock climb together every weekend, we camp and canoe together, and we just started learning ramp skating together. She likes watching me lift weights too, and I let her do some light weight lat pull downs when I am done, because she thinks it is super cool

My cat is my workout buddy if I'm doing something at home. I love him to death, but he makes planks and bridges very difficult because he insists that he needs to lay beneath me.2

My workout buddy today. Surprised my cat isn't back here too, she took a rest day.

Went hiking with my son last year on Mt. Umunhum (which translates to Hummingbird Mountain) and the hummingbirds were too fast for us to take pics of them, not to mention it was quite a brutal hike
Afterwards looking at the pics I saw a speck above my left shoulder and zoomed in and there was a hummingbird!

My kids!!! I have 3. My 8 year old used to sit in his carriage and watch me teach when he was 6 months old until 18 months. The studio didn’t have daycare and on Saturday mornings i taught a muscle class.
Then my daughter who is now 5 also grew up with me working out and teaching. I prepare my classes in my basement and they both love to help me, giving me ideas etc. they know what tabata is and lift weights with me. (2 lb dumbbells i have for them)
The baby is 2 and he is used to it as well. Sunday is yoga day and he loves to do it too. Even puts his palms together in namaste and “breathes”.
I am a firm believer in children mimic what you do.

Once or twice a month I walk the local mall in the morning with my dad and one or more of his 4 mall-walking friends. They do it twice a day almost every day of the year, they're hardcore mall walkers. I'm 42 and my dad's the youngest at 72. They are a fun bunch of guys.6

There was a hawk calling out from the very top of the pine tree and also saw a great blue heron on my 10k trail run today, they didn’t seem to mind me running by them!1 -
Not exactly unusual, but my workout buddy is fully convinced that she is providing value contributions to my routine all times:

Other creatures of habit...same people, same time of day. The get in-get out crowd makes me feel more motivated (prefer the get in get out crowd over lonely home workouts...not because I want people to watch me but give some sort of belonging knowing others have the same mindset).2
