Not lost any weight yet...

This is my third week of filling my diary in and I'm feel a little disheartened that I haven't lost any weight yet. I want to lose 7kg. I've being sensible with food and have been exercising most days as I am training for a half marathon. Any tips on how I can boost my weight loss?

Can't see your diary, so it would be hard to say. Maybe you're too high on sodium? Not enough water?0

Have you lost any inches? If you are watching what you eat AND exercising, you could be losing fat but gaining muscle = no change in weight.
I got rid of my scale completely ....instead of obsessing over a number that doesn't really tell the whole story, I started paying more attention to how my clothes were fitting, how much energy I had, how I felt in general....0 -
Sodium keeps water in the body = water weight. Also can increase edema (swelling in the legs) and blood pressure. If you are eating frozen dinner, chips, fast food this will add up to way over daily limit. Avoiding packaged foods is what people call "clean eating". You can change settings to monitor sodium in your diary. I go over often, but I drink more water, and I sweat like crazy during cardio.0

statia152, I checked my sodium levels and they are fine, as is my water intake.
tinamarie204, have noticed a small change in clothes, but not for the amount of exercise I've been doing. Will try measuring only from now on though.0 -

Sodium is salt in food..it can make u gain weight..u need to drink alot of water to flush out the sodium u eat during the day.0 -
