I have a 2 month old baby I'm trying to go on a low carb diet to lose some weight off my stomach. How can I go about this safely?

Most of what I have read discourages breastfeeding women who are not already adjusted to low carb from making the change while breastfeeding.
There is lots of helpful info in the second half of this thread:

According to Kellymom so long as your supply is going strong then two months is a good benchmark. Here’s the link https://kellymom.com/nutrition/mothers-diet/mom-weightloss/0

Cutting out food groups is not advised while breast feeding... eat a varied, balanced diet, full of whole foods (not processed), exercise... and drink plenty of water. And make sure, all decisions you make while breastfeeding are in your baby’s best interests and not your own. She doesn’t want no low carb diet. Just saying. Maybe finish breastfeeding your kid before you start b*tching about your stretchy body. First world problems0
