OMG this is so weird......I was literally just looking online at Peacock themed wedding bits and pieces. I'm not getting married for a few years yet but this is my ideal theme. I am totally in love with the teals and purples. And defo want to be incorporating peacock feathers into my wedding somehow :)

So is it only me that thinks that peacock feathers are bad luck??
I would never pick that for a wedding theme and would be nervous going to a wedding like that.

It's odd because I'm not really superstitious about this kind of stuff, but that one has just stuck with me.

it is an odd one - as in india they are seen as good luck and royal birds....

Peacock feathers are supposed to bring bad luck if kept in the home, as a lot of cultures believe the eye is a link for Lilith as the evil eye. So keeping them in your home is supposed to bring bad luck.

Although the colors of a peacock are my favorite, something about dead bird feathers makes me sad. Unless they're fake then I'm all for it!

the birds are still alive, they shed their tail feathers - no animals die for them
