so i really want a tablet (prefably android but im happy with windows 7 too)
these are the ones i like so far
Acer ICONIA Tab A500
Acer ICONIA Tab W500
SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 10.1
ASUS Eee Pad Transformer

does anyone have any of these if so opinions?

    I have the Galaxy Tab. It's fun, kids like playing games on it. Honestly, between my laptop and phone, they use it more. I would have never bought one, it was a gift.

    I've tried em all. I ended up with an iPad. But if you want android then DEFINITELY go with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.0. It is incredibly thin and light with a beautiful vibrant display.

    SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 10.1 by far the best tablet out there.

    SAMOLED+ Screen and Exynos Processor :love: :love:
    No locked bootloader

    And the fact that Samsung just employed the creator of Cyanogen Mod... no reason not to buy this tablet.

    If you're definitely not going to consider an iPad, I'd say the Galaxy as well.

    the ipad is just a large ipod touch with a big screen... nothing special about it. Kennie, Get a windows based one, i am assuming you want it for school, are you even going to school? If you don't want one for school, then you want one just for the hell of it? you already have a huge phone...

    I personally got a tm2t tablet by HP with windows7, I am not big in to tablets if they don't have a keyboard, it's just crazy.

    Ive got a viewsonic gtablet that ive been pretty happy with. It was pretty bloated out of the box as most of them are, but a custom rom helped a lot.

    Watch woot.com for deals if you dont need the latest and greatest.
