max number of days in a row of exersise

i cant seam to get in the mood to go to the gym today at all.
but was thinking back and i have been to the gym for the last 8 days without a break, was ment to have a day off but did not ,
is it bad for you NOT to have a break

I think it is fine!!!! If you are up to it and not pushing yourself too hard, then go for it!!!The more the better if you are feeling okay! Listen to your body and keep up the great work!

I often go 10 to 15 days without a break, but I alternate less intense workouts with more intense. Or I mix it up--run one day swim the next, walk, etc. Often I count walking as a rest day! I hate missing a day because I am very short, small framed, female, and past 40 so I don't get to eat many calories if I dont exercise. And I LIKE to eat! But finally my body tells me that I need to rest, and I do. Or I do a light yoga workout. I think you will learn to listen to your body for cues when you need a rest day or a less intense day.0

For me, I keep it old school 5 days a week M-F like in school, lol0

Depends on what you're doing, when I do my strength training I've got different areas focused on so I can end up with an area getting a rest even though I'm at the gym daily. Cardio is daily, and now that I have pool access again, yeah that will get back to a daily thing!0
