When will i lose weight?

Hello. I have been on mfp for 3 weeks. Eating 1300 calories, limited my carbs, was doing cardio 5 times a week and now added weights. Planning to do twice a week. So far only 2 lbs lost. Any advise as to when i can see some changes?

2 pounds over three weeks *is* a loss. Readjust your expectations.10

2 lbs in 3 weeks is losing weight. Figure in some water weight fluctuations messing with the scale, and sounds like you're right on track to me :drinker:7 -

Adding to the above, if you are a menstruating female, scale weight will vary considerably over the course of a cycle. So wait a few more weeks to evaluate.4
