Hello,

I am here to lose weight. I just starting reading The 8 Hour Diet by David Zinczenko; it's all about intermittent fasting for losing fat. I am very excited about trying this lifestyle. David says that even if you only choose to do I.F. 3 days a week, you can lose weight. I plan to do it 5 to 7 days a week. My current goal it 6 weeks - hoping to lose 10 pounds. Although you don't have to count calories on this plan, I like the idea of knowing how many calories I am consuming and having a record of my journey along the way. That way, if I am successful, I can share my experience with my friends and family. I am on day 4. I plan to include a 2 mile jog most mornings.

I am 55 and weight 130. I would love to lose the fat, even if I don't lose as much weight as I would like.

Anyway, here goes... :)

I don't really know how this whole meeting people works. I would like to join other people in their journeys along the way.
