🍊 200-600 Pound Support Group 🍎

I enjoy support from anyone no matter what weight but I would love to see people in my weight range and over to support. We can help each other and give our stories so we can better ourselves.
A lot of people classified as obese to morbidly obese find it hard to lose weight I would love to support and help you!
I struggle with binge eating, depression, anxiety, and other things. It is hard to find people in your situation to help and support you without judgement. {β™₯️ Judgement Free Zoneβ™₯️} so I am creating a positive, loving space. Please feel free to comment and express how you feel and how you want to change yourself for the better!

    Remember: Losing weight takes time, it will NOT happen overnight
    To keep a healthy diet and mindset you'll need to-
    🍊 Have a good sleeping schedule {staying up will cause you to binge and also make you more tired}
    🍌 Drink water { No soda, diet soda, juices or any alcohol }
    🍎 Have a positive mindset
    πŸ‡ Exercise, even if it's a little. Lift weights, walk in place, go swimming, do stretches, ride a bike, jog, walk your dog, clean, etc
    πŸ‘ Buy healthy food.
    🍐 Eat three meals a day {and a healthy snack} Breakfast is the most important meal of the day {no bacon of any kind}
    πŸ“ Do not go out to eat. Make your own food at home.
    πŸ’ It is okay to mess up, but don't give up and don't make excuses.
    πŸ‹ Be happy with yourself and how far you've come.
    Food to look out for:
    πŸ₯” Potatos
    🍞 Bread
    🍟 Anything fried and full of fat
    🍜 Ramen, noodles, pasta, rice (full of sodium)
    πŸͺ Dairy, sweets, chocolate etc
    πŸ₯“ No bacon at all (not even turkey)

    This is my suggestions, you do not have to follow them. You choose your own diet plan that fits your own body

    Right on top of my list are all the advantages MFP has to offer. All calculations needed - done. Plenty of support, encouragement, good advise from members - thank you. I just have to record all my food as good as possible and slowly start with exercise. Started on 170 kg, 375 pounds - 301 days later: lost about 30 kg, 67 pounds. Still a long way to go, but I didn't gain weight overnight either....

    I've got 200 plus pounds to lose. Started out at 383 pounds and I'm down to 368.2.

    I gained my weight mostly due to an out-of-wack thyroid caused by flu shots. The flu shots caused sub-acute thyroiditis a whopping 8 times before I stopped taking them in 2017. Sub-acute thyroiditis [SAT] causes weight gain because the thyroid function fluctuates so much. It takes about 3 to 9 months to get over SAT and that whole time feels like I have the flu in my thyroid gland. I get the same symptoms I would with the flu. My thyroid medicine dose finally became consistent at the end of 2017. It takes a year to be stabilized on thyroid medicine before I could have success with weight loss. So toward the end of 2018 I started losing weight.
    • I have to document my caloric intake daily.
    • I'm on a doctor restricted diet of 1400 calories.
    • I exercise three days a week. Right now I'm doing only cardio.
    • I have my strength training station set up and need to do that three days a week and cardio two days a week. That's my goal. I'm limited in cardio to cleaning my home and short walks because I can no longer cycle due to bad knees. I loved cycling!
    • Low carb diet. So full fat everything.
    • I have to eat at home because I'm allergic to many of the foods everyone else can eat; such as citrus, melons, peanuts, almonds, and most spices especially the aromatic ones used most often by chefs/restaurants which includes celery and carrots and parsnips.
    • Luckily I love water so I never had to give up sweetened drinks. I drink between 8 and 10 glasses a day of water. Started this good habit years ago.
