Lower vegetable fat - why? If you are trying to lose weight it's always about calories.
I have my macros set at the default of 50C/30F/20P but I'm often over on fat and under with carbs.
What are you trying to accomplish?

Depends. Canola oil is high in Omega-6. Olive oil is higher in Omega-3. Grass-fed butter, both high in Omega-3 and saturated, is also a good option. At the level of precision you seem to be trying to achieve, the Omega 6/3 ratio becomes something you can manage to perfect.0

If you are trying to go Keto, which is often the motivation behind using MCT oil, then you might want to increase your fats. Keto usually calls for calories to be 60% fat, 30% protein and 10% carbs.0

If you want to keep your macros the same, yeah.
But you may not need to do that, depends on how and why you set your macros.2 -
You will need to lower calories somewhere after adding mct oil to you diet if you which to stay at a similar calorie level.
I think swapping mct for corn, canola, soy or cottonseed oil is a great idea for health although it will be harder on the wallet.0 -

I’ve been on a blend of a whole food plant base diet but I have add one meal with either wild caught fish of clean lean poultry. I have dropped 60 lbs now 17% body fat and I’m only about 4 lbs from my goal. I workout weight and cardio 4 times a week with a hike and or yoga on the weekend. I had a heart attack Oct of 2017 and changed my lifestyle all together. I like the MCT oil in the morning with my coffee before my workout. It’s a great day starter! I just completed a Dr Cabral 14 day detox and really liked the prescribed meal plans, because the fit into my diet perfectly. The only think that was New was adding a veggie fat portion to each of the meals which push my macros on fat up. I talk with my nutritionist and he said what most of you said that it was not a issue and the 40% fat was still a good number. This puts me at 40% f and 35% p and 25%c at a 1900 cal cut and a 2100 + to hold. Have not gotten to the hold yet will have to adjust that number when I get there. 4 lbs to go! Thanks so much for all the replies!!! All the Best!!0
