I take a shot of espresso before workouts I’ve learned that caffeine is just as good if not better than those things.6

Lift weights4

fat burners dont work and neither do weight loss supplements. weight loss supplements are mostly caffeine now adays as they banned the active ingredients in the fat burners/weight loss supplements. to lose fat you need to be in a calorie deficit its the only thing that works. so if those supplements work they are illegal and if they are legal they wont work. the only thing they may do due to the caffeine is supress appetite a bit but thats about all it will do6

Let me know
They're not a thing... not legal ones anyway4 -
Caffeine and being in a calorie deficit.7

A bicycle or a pair of running shoes?8
-
caffeine isnt going to burn fat like you all may think, that happens in a deficit of calories. it may give you some energy to burn more calories but the effects are going to be very minimal at best

If its legal they don't work and if it works it isn't legal. What is wrong with a calorie deficit and exercise (especially more resistance/weights)?5

There is no best, there isn't even okay supplements or fat burners... they do nothing but drain your wallet.
Calorie deficit and its free.4 -
A calorie deficit.2
-
Running shoes and a little less food than normal.2

You can't. That's what everyone is saying.
Your metabolism is what it is.
All the marketing-woo saying that you can is just trying to get you to buy something.9 -

You can't "jump start your metabolism", that's one of the myths the diet industry puts out there to keep us buying stuff.
We get a little silly here sometimes, but the advice was true. All fat burners do is give you a kick of energy so you feel like something happened, and maybe you therefore give a little extra in your workout. Your body burns fat when you are in a calorie deficit, regardless of what supplements you are taking or diet you are following. Save your money

No I understand, Thank you guys.
I appreciate the feedback 7 -
If you’re alive, your metabolism is fine. It’s not a rusty car that’s been sitting in a barn for 60 years. You can’t “jump start” it. It just is.
The only way to lose weight is a calorie deficit. Unless you’re looking to lose weight in your wallet specifically-none of that stuff does anything.0 -
eat less, move more0

You're not a car, you don't need jump starting...4 -
Apparently I asked a very obvious question haha, I get it! I do the all the above, but sometimes the little extra weight is a bit stubborn, unfortunately I was under the unfortunate impression that there may be some natural or other supplements that might be of help. I was wrong. I truly do appreciate all the feedback.

Don't worry, lots of times people are posting and it takes them a long time to type so they don't see new posts in the thread. And some people just read the OP and respond without reading the rest!

Going to say the same. People will likely keep commenting. Don’t take it personally. You already got the right info. 🙂0 -
This morning the phone rang, and I left the bacon unattended for 5 minutes.
Talk about a fat burner.

Not obvious to you since you are new, which is why you asked. For many who have been on MFP for years answering the same question a lot leads to some silly responses. Don't take it personally and don't be afraid to ask anything else. There is a very knowledgeable bunch of people here who can be very helpful even though they can also poke a little fun at the question.5
