Is it really so high?

I log 200mls of cravendale semi skimmed a day fr my tea consumption & it shows 800mg of sodium. I just can't see how there is that much.

Anyone know why or if this is wrong?

recheck it on the nutrion label of your milk and compare with MFP.
  • Is cravendale not filtered milk? Is this not another word for processed?
Also Sodium gives products a longer life.....is this why you can keep cravendale for 7 days.

That doesn't sound right. I drink 1/4 a cup of 1% milk w/my cereal in the morning and it has 38mgs.

Just googled the lable on the cravendale semi skimmed & it is def wrong on the MP food library

NutritionTypical Values Typical values per 200ml -
    Energy 413kJ/98kcal -
    Protein 7.2g -
    Carbohydrate 9.7g -
    of which sugars 9.7g -
    Fat 3.4g -
    of which saturates 2.0g -
    Fibre nil -
    Sodium 0.09g -
    equivalent as salt 0.2g -
    Calcium 247mg (30.9% RDA)

Looks like it is being calculated 100% higher than it actually is :explode:

There are 3 different options to chose when I look it up & all 3 are different.

think I will just create my own one from the label posted, no wonder my sodium is always over daily!!!
