I don't think 5 lbs a month is quite as realistic anymore for me since I've been losing slowly since reaching the 120s, but I'll give 3 lbs a shot for Feb!

I am READY to continue hitting my goals in February! In January, I am happy to report I lost 4.5lbs and down 3% of my body weight! At first I was a bit discouraged the first few weeks of January since the scale was not moving as much as I thought it should, LOL! I had stopped drinking all alcohol (I think my body was in shock, where was the vino???!!!!), eating healthy (prior I usually ate a pretty well balanced healthy diet) and focused on working out!
Needless to say, calculating the % of loss in Jan, I am thrilled!

Hello all. I am happy to be a part of this forum again heading into my 4th month. It looks like I have lost 5 pounds per month up until now.
I am going to continue to weigh daily throughout February. I started this in December and I find that it gives me motivation, accountability, and shows trends.

Back for another round. Still didn't reach 5 pounds last month, but did get close (3.9). This month I will be happy with 3 pounds and reach 145. It's a short month, we have Superbowl Sunday, my second oldest turns 18 next weekend, and my husband and I are leaving for our an annual trip to Vegas. 6 days no kids and tons of fun! So I think even loosing 3 is going to be hopeful. I'm going to stay strong on the days of no celebrating and try and make decent choices on the other days. We will see!
