It sounds like you may need to speak to a professional (doctor/nurse/dietitian/nutritionist). If that is a current picture of you in your profile, you appear to be at a healthy weight. However, if you ARE actually gaining weight, then you’re simply eating more calories than you burn. Fat should not disturb you...everyone needs and has fat on them and there are many healthy fats to consume. Your weight
shouldn’t occupy every thought. That’s a big sign of an eating disorder.

You say you’ve been logging, but have you been using a good food scale for solids and measuring cups for liquids? This is imperative.

Please do talk to your doctor or another professional about making an appointment. It will put yourself mind to rest.

I agree that you need professional help. I did notice you had WLS three years ago, as well as problems with binge eating. We all have issues with food, but food and body weight seem very serious emotional issues in your case. Please find help.

What's not working? How much more weight are you wanting to lose? Are you close to what is considered normal for your height? The last few pounds/kgs can be frustratingly slow to come off.

I have heard that upping calories can help.. but I don't see that working as I am gaining on the calories I am currently eating

    here's to wishing!!

THE WLS worked for me and I was down to 61 kd(not yet healthy BMI for my height) but over the last year... not changing anything except I certainly do get my calorie counts up to 1500 on a day I have to socialize. I have slowly gained 20Kg and gaining more that makes me 40%body fat and obese BMI

If you're weighing everything have you double-checked the entries you're using for accuracy? Off entries could make you think you're eating less than you are.

No, sorry. Increasing how many calories you eat per day will not result in weight loss.

In your next post you say "but over the last year... not changing anything... I have slowly gained 20Kg". Surely something has changed. Barring a bizarre medical issue gaining weight is simply a result of eating too much.

Well I guess I have now gone nitpicking through my foods to see if they are logging correct calories but if my day is completing at 950 calories say there is mistakes in there like maybe say add an extra 300 cals in that still takes me only to 1250 cals daily which is the recommendation for rapid weight loss

Have you had blood work done in the last couple months? If you are actually weighing foods and logging correctly then maybe there is a medical problem.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through that, it must be stressing you out so much! If I were you, I'd go and seek professional help to see what the problem is. It sounds like you're doing things right, so maybe there is an underlying problem?
I hope you'll be able to find out and fix it :)

I second getting some blood work done or some testing. Because the issue is either your logging or a medical issue.

Perhaps you could open your diary so we can see if there are any errors or bad entries?

I went back 30 days in your diary. Would you say those last 30 days were a good indicator of your weight loss efforts? I see 12 with no food at all and multiple days with less than 500 calories. That's concerning. I can't tell if you needmore consistency in your logging or if the earlier suggestion of a professional is the best call.

Yes the start of January was extremely low times.. I the first week I didn't log... but I do know I wasn't eating a real lot... no proper meals as you can see the 500 cal days are made up with very bad choices of food,, this is a pretty rare occurrence this happens.. due to BED I happened also in August but if you look at about October you will get more accurate idea of what I eat daily

When your exercise adds 900 calories back to your daily eating goal, where are you getting the number 900? Are you wearing a heart rate monitor when you work out?

I think about losing weight/being fat every second when I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. I always talk to my friends and my family about my weight every single time I open my mouth.
Have you lost any weight so far?
If you have, focus on that. Take it one day at a time and realize it’s okay if your weight fluctuates and it’s okay if you mess up sometimes. Your calorie goal is super low in my opinion. Not sure if you’re working out or anything but take some space for yourself too.

What I do is take an hour of my day at a time and go walking & I used to hate it but now it’s a highlight of my day most says. I’ve lost 45lbs by taking it day by day and now I’m stuck but one day it’ll be worth it!
I put myself down in my head too and I am slowly learning to love myself. Maybe you just need to find love for yourself ♥️ I hope this helps!

I’m by no means an expert but I think you’re not eating enough. Stay too low calorie for too long and you’re body goes into starvation mode, reducing your base line metabolism. If you are able to, I’d suggest talking with an expert (personal trainer or the like). They have experience that you and I don’t. If you don’t have access to a trainer, I’ve hear good things about Renaissance Periodization, though I’ve never used them.

    Two things...

    1. Starvation mode in the context you are using it is a myth.
    2. Being a personal trainer does not automatically give someone the credentials necessary to give advice regarding diet/nutrition.
