Losing weight

So I jog/intervals on the treadmill 5x a week. I’m currently trying to lose weight but nothing is moving. I’m a 5.2 female weighing 140lb so how many calories should I be eating when I burn around 400 calories through exercise.

Put your stats and goals into MFP and it will give you a calorie goal. Eat that, plus the calories you're burning through exercise.3

Set MFP to lose 1lb per week, what does it give you?
How long are you running for to burn 400 calories?1 -
Bear in mind, MFP won't go lower than 1200 calories, and assuming you only have 20lbs to lose maybe (I'm not sure at 5'2) you probably only want a weight loss goal of 0.5lbs a week, maybe 1lb a week until the last few. Generally recommended to eat back 50-75% of exercise calories on top, as most things overestimate how many you'll burn.0

Hi!! I've been trying to lose weight for 2 years now with no luck, dumped my bf, got a new job, and started working out. I LOST 4 POUNDS! that's progress for me so I thought I'd share:)4

You could buy a heart rate monitor that more accurately estimates calories burned during each run.1
