Hi my name is Vanessa. My doctor recommended this app to help with my newly discovered diabetes. I am looking for motivation to lose weight and reverse this prognosis.
I’m open to all advice. From low carb food tips to workout tips. I look forward to learning and sharing. :)

    Have you gotten started logging food, goals, etc.?
  • Yesterday was my first day logging my food. It looks bad but my husband took me on a celebratory lunch/dinner so the one meal took up most of my calories.

    The diary is for you. Log accurately and honestly. You'll use the information recorded in your diary to decide what changes you want to make.

    For instance, I discovered from my diary that I needed to make changes at restaurants.

    The motivation you want is the lovely and vivacious you.

    I have been trying to be honest, the measurements throw me off a little but I think I’ve done well adding to compensate and be accurate

    Avoid coffee from the likes of costa cafe nero ect the sugar and calories in those beverages is insane

    If you can meet with a nutritionist or diabetic educator it's well worth it. There's also lots of low carb recipes on Pinterest
