What is your goal weight at 5 foot tall?

I’m 5 foot tall and 190. I recently lost 20 pounds and have 40 pounds to go. Believe it or not I look good at 150. The last 40 has been a nightmare to lose. Just curious what are other people’s goals at 5 foot tall

I am 5', I went from 156lbs to 125lbs in 2018. I'm maintaining at 120-125 for now, but my ultimate goal is 110-115. I am stopping here and maintaining because I'm still breastfeeding. I feel like the last 10lbs will be harder and I'd rather just stay here at a healthy weight that I can handle a few more calories for a while.

I'm 5 feet and at 200 lbs as of this morning I'll be happy if I can see 150 see what happens when I get there.

I'm 5 feet and at 128 now. I'm tentatively aiming for 117 based on bodyfat % past DEXA scans done at 135, 130 and 125 (guessing I'll be in the low to mid 20's at 117). I'll reassess when I reach 117. Will probably do a recomp at that point.

Just a hair under 5' and I'm currently 116. Looking to get to 110 but those last 5 lbs have been nearly impossible for me since there's such little room for error and I haven't been willing to be strict enough with myself. I'm happy enough where I am now. The last 5-6 are truly vanity pounds.

Very similar to you: I round up to 5 ft, started at 184, currently at 163. My first goal is 150, then I'll maintain for a while and decide if I want to go farther. If you're happy and comfortable at 150, then that sounds like a good goal for you!

I'm 5ft started at 180lbs, currently 173lbs....goal 126lbs [9 stone]. I am aiming for the higher end of healthy weight for us 5fters because I'm older [70] and don't want to look too much like a turtle lol.
  • My goal is similar and I'm just getting back into focusing on my eating and activity again after too long of a break. I'm 5'1" and 175-177 right now, but have lost 45 lbs already (very slowly over the course of many years and plateaus.) My goal is 140, but I suspect I might be 130-135 if toned up and active. I have a somewhat sturdy frame, so under 130 is probably not healthy for my body. You know your body best. It depends a lot on how you are built, how you carry it, and how you feel physically. 150 is a very reasonable goal at our height and you can always re-assess when you get there.

I'm 5ft and similar weight as you, I would be very happy in the 138-145 range.

I am 5'6 and it's all relative. I am going by approximate % bodyfat and appearance for a goal vs a hard weight.

I’m 5 ft 1 and weigh around 177-178 currently. I’m not sure what my final goal is yet, but somewhere around 120, most likely. I weighed around 110 when I was 25 (I’m 37 now, so I’m not sure if that’s a realistic goal).

37...you're a baby! I used to be 102/105lbs up to well past 50...it's just the last 20 years I've piled it on but I'm still vain lol

Yeah, I'll evaluate as I go. I'm medium build and have always had a larger-than-average chest. We'll see what happens and what seems manageable down the line.

Depending on how much you lose and where your body burns the fat from, your cup size may get smaller. I went from a 40DDD to a 32D, but I didn’t lose cup sizes until the last 15 or so pounds. I was mostly losing fat proportionally around by rib cage and breasts, which kept the cup size consistent but made my band size go down.

I'm 5'1 (37 years old, female). Started around(this time) 167 and my first goal was 130. I've been obese most of my life and that was the "smallest" i'd been. I spent most of my life over 200pds. I had twice before lost 100lbs and was on that way again but stopped the gain at 167.

But things were going well so I changed my goal. I'm now at 123. my current goal is 120. then I think I need a break to explore maintenance and work on muscles/physical fitness again (I was running pretty intensely for a bit until I was injured. haven't run since August but I have a plan after finally seeing a sport doctor and hope to slowly fix the issues and get back on an exercise program).

So from here on out it's all uncharted territory for me. I really don't recognize my body! Depending how the break goes and if toning goes I MAY try to slooowwly get to below 120. I don't see getting below 115 and I also know sometimes with a better balance of muscle and such I may be happy at this current weight or more. Plus maintenance at 115 may be too low haha.

I'm just over 5 foot - weigh around 104 pounds. My lowest last year was 101. I weight train and have reasonable muscle mass. Hoping to maintain around 100-107 (can't stay at lowest the whole time - too hard!).

    True. I’m a 36DD right now, but when I’m smaller I’m a 32 or 34 C.

I'm 5 foot exactly and I'm usually happy at 125 lbs. I would love to get down to my teenage weight of 120 lbs but at 38 and after having kids I'm not sure it's realistic. It's nice to know there are other 5 footers on here, I'm the shortest person I know (grown up) lol

I’m almost 5’1”. My start weight was 176. Current weight is 158. I’m aiming for 135-140 lbs. I am 47 so I think that trying to get to the weight I was in my 20’s may be a bit much. I was 110-120 then. I was 135 a few years ago and that felt like the right weight for me.

I'd be happy to lose a little. I've already lost a lot. I was a 32JJ (UK, 32N US) when I started losing. I'm now a 28G/30FF (UK) depending on the brand. I'm really not that far off from where I was when I was this weight before, at the end of college, I was wearing a 32DDD, which is a sister to a 30F UK, now I'm a 30FF/28G, so, really close.

Bras are still hard to find because I'm a 28 band now, so I have to switch to a 30 in some brands. My underbust is 28" though.

I'm 5', and my ultimate goal is 52kgs (roughly 115 lb), but even if I don't reach the weight I had in my 20s, any progress is positive. I started this journey with 159 lb and am currently down about one third of the way.

I have just turned 47. My age had nothing to do with me getting to what weight I wanted. In fact, I kept losing to be less than I ever thought possible. At 4"11, my initial goal was 121 pounds which was the top of my BMI range and a weight I hadn't been since my early 20's. I got there and decided to push for 110 pounds. I got there and decided to push for 105 pounds simply because it was the weight I was at 18 and was smack bang in the middle of my BMI range.

If you feel that 135 is the right weight for you then let that be your goal and be proud of your achievements because you should be. If you get to that and think you will be better off losing more then you already know what to do. Just keep doing what you did to lose the weight in the first place. Don't think that your age is a barrier.

Try Panache. Their smallest size is a 28D in some styles, and they go up to a K cup.

I also highly recommend doing measurements at bratabase.com, which gives you recommendations.

Also check out https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/. There are far more bra resources there than most people could ever want :)

I'm 5"1 and as of today 113.5lbs but body fat of 28%. My short term goal is 107lbs and 25% fat (by June) and by the end of the year I want to be 100lbs with less than 25% body fat.

I started this time last year at 144lbs with body fat over 30% and got to 110lbs just before Christmas but then put some on following a binge.

I'm getting a bit frustrated at the moment because I'm struggling to get back in the weight loss zone but really need to do something because I look horrible.
