I see all these posts and always look at the ways almost at my height so I figured I'd make one that is my height - 5'6.
My goal is 125. What's yours?

I'm 5'6 and I'm a few years into maintenance. I've been as low as 118lbs and then as high as 143lbs (while still considering myself in maintenance). Currently I'm at 136lbs, working on getting back down to 130lbs (and will have a maintenance range of 130-134 for a while).
Really, it just depends on how I'm feeling, what season it is, how intentional I want to be about my weight management etc.4 -
5'7", goal is 130 (when I'm carb loaded, so like 127 or 126 when I'm low on water weight)5

5'6, aiming currently for 150 and see how I feel when I get there. Might go 140 though.7

I'm 5'7. My goal weight changes based on my body composition. Currently I feel best at 132-135lbs.4

Goal is between 128 - 132.
Currently just over 150.4 -
My goal is 135 right now, but I'll see how I feel at 150 and go from there. I was in the 120s before I gained all my weight, but was a bit thin for my frame. I think the 130s or 140s is probably better.0
-
150 because I've never seen that number before and it means a normal BMI. I don't need to be super thin. I'm at 160 now. Maybe 149.....7

I'd like to get back to 125lbs.1

I was in good shape in the low 140s with moderate muscle tone. In the mid 150s I still looked good because I was lifting heavy consistently. (I hold the bulk of my weight in my butt and hips.) I'm currently in the mid 160s, aiming to lose another 15-20 lbs with some body recomp. I haven't lifted consistently in a few years.3

Mine is 143lb (so it's 65kg). I'm about 10lbs away.0

I'm 5'6 and I can't remember a time I've been in my 120s (as I started being my conscious about my weight when I topped out at 189) I'm thinking I want to hit a goal of 125!1

117-119. Bone structure and muscle mass being the reason.5

1431

125-135. Big range but that’s where I feel my best.0

Hello, Are you me? Sounds like my story verbatim

Just under 5’6 here and maintaining between 115 and 120. Have a fairly small frame.1

I'm 5'6" and my goal weight is 125. I am 140-142 right now. I started a few years ago at 167 and the highest I've ever been in 183. I do not remember ever being 125. I was my full height by sixth grade but I've always been a bit overweight as I never exercised or played in sports, and we ate a lot at home. So I am curious what I will look like at 125. It will take most of the year to get there.
My step-daughter (age 15) is 114 lbs at 5'6" and it looks good on her, though it's close to underweight. She's a swimmer so she's fit, not flabby. But her body shape is different than mine - she has wide hips so she has a thigh gap and flat stomach. I have narrow hips (and wide shoulders) so I am not expecting to get a thigh gap, though it would be nice if that happened.0 -
I started at 216, down to about 180 right now. I have a wider frame (large hips, rib cage) and a good amount of muscle mass so I would probably maintain and feel best at about 150-160.9

Thank god you are here!! I am 5'7" and I cannot even imagine being below 130, 150 -160 sounds like a dream!!
So, my goal is 160. Maybe my perspective will change when I get down, I am still trying to make it to ONEderful !13 -

You may find that as you continue to lose weight your frame is not actually as wide/large as you thought it was. I actually went down a whole shoe size with my weight loss, but prior to that I always thought I just had big feet. I had to buy all new shoes, it was nuts lol.4 -
5'6" Goal is 140. Ideally size 6-8 pants and DD or smaller bra.0

My goal has moved further and further down as I drop weight and ackowledge just how much excess fat I still have on my body. My original goal was 175. My current weight is 163. My current goal weight is 130 because I think that’s just how far I’m going to have to go to achieve a healthy waist/hip ratio. I carry a lot of weight in my abdominal section. That is, unfortunately, the most dangerous place to carry excess fat. If I had nice wide hips or carried my weight in my butt or thighs, I’d be happy with a higher weight.4
-
I'm 5'6.5" and my goal is 127-130. 2 years ago I was maintaining there easily. The lowest weight I've been in the past 5 years was 125 and it was not maintainable. currently hovering around 131 so trying to lose a couple more pounds1
-
I’m 5’6-3/4” (can’t claim 5’7” lol) and my current weight is 192. As of now my goal is 150 and I will reevaluate when I get there.0
-
Right now I'm thinking in terms of 160. I've been over 200 for at least a decade, so 160 is almost the impossible dream. Once I'm there, I might realize that I can dream smaller (lol).3
-
I started at 193 and went down to 120. That was about five years ago now. I feel happiest and healthiest between 126-130. I let a little bit of weight creep back on the scales over the past couple of years. Stepped on the scales back at the start of January and weighed 145, cw 136 so not too far to go!1
-
I'm 5'6, and my goal is 140. I would love to go down to 135, but we will see when (if) I ever get close to there! I have a fairly large frame and was wearing around a size 6 when I was at 140.1
-
I think your age also depends. I’m in my early 60’s and aiming for 140. I worry about how much sagging skin I’ll have on my face if I go lower. I don’t want to look old and haggered.0
-
I'm 5'6" (167.5cm) and my goal weight is 63kg (139lb). Many moons ago, I got down to 58kg. This was previous to MFP and I didn't know how to properly maintain my weight. But I found 60-63kg felt right for me.
When I get to my goal weight, I will reevaluate. I may try to get lower, but I personally doubt it.1
