Meal plan?

I’m very informed on how to work out. I used to do it all the time being a full time hockey player. I could eat whatever I wanted. I work midnights now, at a desk for 12 hours. I can’t seem to find myself at the gym anymore. I know fitness starts in the kitchen but I have no idea how to eat healthy. Anyone with some insight I would definitely appreciate.

-eat foods you like
-eat a good mix of fruits, veggies, meats/meat alternatives
-eat to whatever number MFP gives you for a reasonable deficit (1lb/week is usually good for most people, people with well over 100lbs to lose could bump it up to 2lb/week, 20lbs or less shouldn't aim for more than 0.5lb/week)
-eat back a portion of exercise calories
-use a food scale and track accurately
-food is just food, don't feel like you have to deprive yourself of things you enjoy because they're "bad"
-eat in a way you can manage long term
-get a good amount of protein3
