Fitbit and calories

Why is yours not accurate?
I have a Fitbit charge HR 2 and love it. I find it pretty accurate.0 -
I'm trying to figure this out too.
Does something need to be adjusted somewhere for it to calculate the calories burned from the fitbit?
Right now with about 5k steps its showing almost 900 calories added for exercise. I know this isn't correct and shouldn't be any but how do I fix it?0 -
If you have one of the HR fitbits, it's probably pretty accurate since it's tracking periods of elevated heart rate in addition to steps.
I do a morning workout plus a pretty consistent amount of steps and my TDEE doesn't fluctuate much. Add in a few hours of snow clearing and it jumps up 400 - 500 calories for the extra activity.0 -
I just bought a Charge 3 a week ago. I'm not sure how accurate it is tbh. I haven't had it long enough to really work things out but I think it's a bit off. I could be wrong, time will tell. I was going to compare it with my POlar HRM, but that has decided to die so I can't0
