To the love of my life,

Each day for the last 9 (almost 10) years, you have made us laugh, made us smile and made us feel pure joy. You turned our lives upside down and everyday feels like a hurricane with all your energy, but I wouldn’t change a single thing about you. You are kind, and loving, stubborn and compassionate, hardworking and absolutely hilarious, especially when you laugh at your own jokes, which is terrible but I love you for it anyways. You are everything I could have hoped for and some. I celebrate this day with you because I never understood true love before you. I don't know if it was love, but it's the closest I've been to that in a very long time. We may or may not be meant for something more, but the timing was wrong. Again. I feel like it's not the end even though I tried to make it be. You have been the only one that I allowed in past these walls. Now they are up and locked again. But I will be just fine, like I always have been. I truly wish you happiness and the best for you.
