Is it better to work out in the morning or afternoon?

Should breakfast be the biggest meal of the day? Is it best to work out in the morning? Afternoon? 1/2 in the morning, 1/2 in the afternoon? Please let me know what has worked best for you, because I need to try something different.

I'm not sure about workouts but breakfast should definitely be your biggest meal of the day if it's feasible for you. Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper, as they say in England.0

Yes to question 1, breakfast is important, as you have been fasting for some time and ur metabolism needs a kick start to prep you for burning for the rest of the day.
As for workouts, its really individual, try all different times of the day, see what works best for you...also, a quick cardio session before breakfast can burn more calories and all your glycogen stores..again prepping you for a better burn through the day

I actually exercise twice a day most days. Some type of cardio in the mornings, either a run or elliptical and either dance class or strength training in the evenings. I think what time of day you work out depends on when you can best work it into your schedule. It doesn't so much matter when as it matters that you DO it!!0

I do my workouts in the morning after my son leaves for school. Exercising in the morning gives me energy through the day. Breakfast is an important meal, but doesn't have to be the biggest. I know I don't wake up wanting to eat heavy. Each person is different though. Hope you find something that works for ya.0

Breakfeast YES this should be your bigges meal and is very important! Workout is best when you do your best work...some people prefer morning some after work...if you do after work do nothing between work and your workout go home or straight to the gym get the workout clothes on and get to it! If you do mornings get up the first time the alarm goes off and eat at least a bannnana before you get to it then make sure to have a real breakfeast after0

I do both workout in the morning and in the afternoon. It mostly depends on the day and how I feel. The most important thing is to get in the exercise so if mornings work best do it then.0

They say, the morning is better because it kick starts ur metabolism; which is why breakfast is the most important meal of the day; I also don't eat after 5pm...at the latest 7pm because after 7 ur food doesn't digest until the next day.
I start working out at 5am ( I need all the burn time I can get, lol) plus, I like to work out before it gets hot.
