Well about two years ago I started eating the right way, watching my food intake, counting the calories etc. and wound up losing the 20 or so pounds I wanted. It took about a year but I was really feeling great both mentally and physically.

Long story shor-I transferred jobs to a different part of the country and it was awhile (a month or so)between the time i moved and when my fitness gear and furntiure arrived arrived and in the interim I was very undedicated, working out only sporadically (and conning myself that I was doing ok) all the while putting weight back on, though I certainly don't now weigh as much as I did.

I am fortunate in that my wife has always said that I look great to her no matter what...too sweet but I have gone from kinda liking the way I looked in the mirror wth my clothes off. (I was getting pretty buff)
Now I look and say where did that buff dude go?

So about six weeks ago I decided to get back at it....and of course I hurt my back...which just got me down cos I was literally bedridden with the first back injury of my life (all you folks that had back pain that I was soooooo very unsampathetic to before, I owe a huge apology). The back injury only frustrated (Pissed me off) me and totally held me back from my getting back on track. Anyway although I still feel a very slight twinge in the old backside, I yesterday decided the pain subsided enough that I could begin working out again. I did a 45 min. speed walk yesterday and today got my nerve up enough to lift weights again. So far no pain.......keeping my fingers crossed.

Tomorrow-its back to the spped walk and the day after that lifting etc. etc. Looks like I am in for life now.
