Will i tone up

Will i tone up by doing laying down side leg raises, weighted squats, crunches, push ups and walking 5 miles every day? I'm on 1200 calorie diet and only need to lose about 14 lbs but don't want to look flabby

What most people mean and what I assume you mean by "toning up" is losing fat to uncover muscles, but if you're only eating 1200 calories with just 14lbs to lose you're risking losing a significant amount of muscle, even if you're exercising. That will result in exactly the look you don't want. Set your goal to be less aggressive, about .5lb loss per week and follow a structured program. Doing a bunch of random exercises is pretty ineffective. This will allow you to retain the muscle you do have while losing fat.

This. I’d also suggest eating .8 - 1g of protein per lean body mass to maintain as much muscle as you can while losing (.5lbs a week) and doing your new structured program.

Any exercise is better than no exercise, but you'll get the best results from a well-designed progressive strength training program. Quite a few are identified in this thread:

Despite the thread title, it does include programs that are bodyweight exercises, not just regular weightlifting.

If you want to be "toned", but not "bulky", something we see women say here sometimes, don't worry. Women don't get "bulky" overnight, especially when not taking illegal/unhealthy supplements. Muscle gains are very slow - months to years. And most women won't get what most of us would call "bulky", ever . . . even the ones who are trying to do it by working like demons at it. ;)
