Maintenance Help

As a "yo yo" dieter with a lot of experience, I am wondering how to use my fitness pal for maintenance. I am not near my goal weight yet but I am already concerned about keeping the extra pounds off once I get there. My fitness pal makes great sense to me yet how do I use the information to maintain?

    Once you get to your goal weight you can adjust your goals for different calories protein etc...
    I've heard that the best way to maintain is consistently weigh yourself after you get to where you wanna be and if your weight fluxuates more than 2 lbs over your desired weight fix it then and there so you're only ever fighting a couple of lbs at a time. I know... easier said than done haha.
