Getting Started with GRIT

After attending a conference for work that had information about psychology and grit and starting the book "Grit" by Angela Duckworth, I have decided that it is time to begin my weightloss journey with Grit as my driving force. My plan is to make a long term goal, mid-term goals, weekly goals, and daily goals. Through mundane daily and weekly choices I will make changes that get me to the healthy lifestyle I desire.

I haven't read the book, but believe that grit is an extremely useful quality to start anything new and challenging. Jump in. Lean in to the discomfort and get started! Harness your grit!0

Grit and determination will go a long way!
But make sure that your daily, weekly and monthly goals are achievable. Because constantly failing to reach an arbitrary or unrealistic goal can take the wind out of even the strongest sails.0
