Nervous about seeing ex husband after weight gain

On Friday I will be seeing my ex husband after not having seen him for 7 years, he is saying he wants to try things again but I sent him photos and he said I look good but actually I have gained 20 lb since then and I emotionally ate a lot after moving back into the area. So my stomach is really bloated from that, really protruded and I am so nervous. Any words of wisdom?

Don't sweat it. If he really wants to try things again - for the right reasons, he'll accept you for who you are and not what you currently weigh.6

I've been married 44 years. 3 years ago I lost 100 lbs. My husband has probably gained 50. That hasn't changed our relationship. A good marriage isn't based on how you look but rather how you act. I would be confident and loving if you are trying to heal your marriage. If he loves you 20 lbs. shouldn't matter. Chances are he's put on a few himself. Good luck my friend and I hope you both come to the best conclusion whatever that may be.8
