May Deadline!

Hi!
Not so much a noob (been keeping my streak going for a looong time lol), but I lost weight a few years ago and was about 10lbs from my goal, then travelled for a while and enjoyed far too much Ubereats and Doordash.
Now I'm getting married in May! So I have a good 3 months to lose 20! It's just so much harder now with all this super easy access restaurant food haha.
Anyone else have an April/May deadline for losing? Need some accountability buddies

It depends on how much you have to lose. If it's just 20lbs then please consider it might not happen as you'd need a calorie deficit of 777kcal per day. This might be too much for your current weight. If you're too aggressive you:
* will lose hair as you're lacking nutrients and energy
* will lose a lot of muscle mass, which will make you look flabby and skinnyfat
* will look pale, unhealthy, tired, etc on your big day.
Go slowly, be happy about every little weight you lose. Oh, and lift heavy weights. You won't gain much muscle in the time you have but it might still make you look a bit leaner.3 -

Deadlines are dangerous and many times even if you meet them you won't look like you think you will. @yirara has given you great advice.3 -
Whoops, you’re totally right! Wasn’t even thinking about the numbers and how much time there actually is!
Editing that to 10lbs!3 -

That sounds very reasonable. Most importantly: Enjoy the time until your big day, and the day itself. Your soon to be husband is loving you the way you are and not when you're a few pounds less4 -
