Daily Goals

Hi Everyone.
I am new here, I like what I see and plan to use this site to its full potential to help me reach my goals. Since April I have gone from 107 Kg to 80kg (thats 176 pounds) by changing my eating habits and regular Gym Workouts - both cardio & weights.
I am Male - My height is 1.75m (5ft 9in) - I have some body fat to lose and wish to gain some muscle too !
I do have a question and am slightly confused.
My Daily Reads:
Calories 1750
Carbs 241
Fat 58
Protein 66
Sugar 35
Fibre 20
My question is this, how are these goals calculated ? I see recommendations from other sites and I can not see the calculation working for me. One in particular mentions Carbs at 275g and Protein at 55g. I understand that there are many different opinions on this but would like to know how this sit calculates these values for me.
Another question, I have read and heard that to gain muscle I should be eating 1g protein for 1lb of body weight - that works out at 175g of protein for me.
Please could someone help me find my answers - Do I need to adjust some of these goals and tune them for my goals?
Many thanks
George
