How Do You Reward Yourself?

Hello, MFPers!
So, as we are working hard, tracking our intakes and outgos, getting healthy and dropping excess pounds...how do you all reward yourselves?
For instance, I was thinking of waiting until I hit my major goal and doing something big, like a cool leather jacket I've wanted for a long time, or maybe a special hiking trip.
But then I thought, maybe small, weekly rewards are better?
What do you all do?

I plan on rewarding myself when I reach my 5lbs target with a luxury lipstick.
10lb mark buying new clothes4 -
When I get to the weight I can zipline, I'm going to do it!!!

@vanityy99 Oh, a luxury lipstick sounds decadent! I like that idea.
@renaerussell18 Ziplining sounds amazing. I've never done that!
Keep 'em coming, folks. We need ideas.1 -
after 20lbs I bought the new Garmin watch I wanted. Now it will be clothes since I will actually not be embarrassed about the size and I will need them anyway8
-
For me, it's the satisfaction of being skinny that is it's own reward.16

When I hit all my goals I'm buying a new motorcycle. A brand new "everything I want" over the top motorcycle.
A big goal keeps me focused more than a bunch of little ones. And my current bike is a 1973, so I spend more time working on it than riding it.8 -
@tashanic2 Garmin is super nice and a logical choice. At 20 pounds down, new clothes are kind of a must. Congrats!
@WanderingRivers Ah, that's true. My mom's WW class in the 70's used to say "Remember, nothing tastes as good a thin feels."
@Silent_Soliloquy Sounds like you more than deserve a new bike. Maybe a James Bond bike, with a smoke screen feature for quick getaways. LOL1 -
If I eat clean all week, I eat a whole cake all weekend.3

My reward will to be able to sit comfortably in a roller coaster!7
-
@CharlieCharlie007 HAHA! Well, not exactly what I meant by reward, but whatever makes you happy.0
-
@Kevdudebro Now THAT sounds not only mentally satisfying, but brave as well. I love roller coasters, but I draw the line at going upside down. You'll get there, no doubt.0

To start with I had planned something small for each stone (14lb) I lost, like a manicure or haircut. As I've gone past them and settled into the habit I've actually started to accumulate the rewards, rather than actually do it, and I'm putting away £30 from each paycheck this year to spend on new clothes when I reach my goal weight. That way it's almost a make over at the end!12

LOVE THIS! I think I'm going to get a massage when I hit my next mini goal It's something I would never spend money on (not because I don't love them, I'm just cheap and stingy LOL) so it's a TRUE reward2
-
When I reach major goals I get to write up a blog post about it. That pushes me to get it done, and do it right.4
-
I usually try to get something self-care related (face masks or whatnot) to mark milestones in weight loss, since my self-care and weight loss goals go kind of hand-in-hand. Sometimes I buy kpop albums, but that's mostly just me looking for an excuse to buy kpop albums, lol.4

I can't believe I got woo'd for that6
-
I will buy new clothes. All new. Everything :-)1

@Silent_Soliloquy I "woo"ed you because I thought it meant like "Yay!" like "woo-hoo!" I just looked the term up, apparently it can now also mean "a bunch of bull." Not sure why MFP would give a negative comment choice on a help forum, so I changed my "woo" for you to "inspiring." Thanks for pointing that out! I just learned something new. Woo-hoo!4

Haha pjay... no worries , happens regularly now and again.1

I've used it too! Now I know its not a good thing! Sorry to anyone I offended!

OK, for a reward , I just ordered Plexiderm for my emerging under eye bags due to weight loss. I'll let ya'll know how it works!2

I want to get a tiny tattoo behind my ear when I reach a certain weight. It's not my goal weight, but it's the halfway point. Other than that, I think buying clothes when your almost at or at goal weight is the best feeling.1

Lots of clothing items I never dared to wear 20lbs ago. Being more adventurous and watching my confidence skyrocket is the best kind of reward!1

I do tiered rewards. If I set a fitness goal and reach it, I’ll do something like get some makeup that is nicer or a video game.
If I reach a goal weight, I change something on my body (like tattoo, piercing, wig).
When I reach my goal weight, I’m going to take a trip overseas for a month.
I try to stay away from food as a reward coming from an eating disorder background.3 -
Luxury accessories! Chanel sunglasses are my fav right now. E-bay is my best friend. Lol I did the manicure reward and now it’s a regular must have splurge.
I’m not really investing in clothes as I keep shrinking out of them but a Balenciaga bag will always fit!!!!
Love the idea of luxury lipstick! I’ve started wearing more make-up as I get smaller. I think a good hair-cut will be my next goal reward- 3 more lbs and I’ll no longer be obese!!!3 -

What are good ways to distinguish knock-offs from the real deal on ebay? I've looked around for deals but I just don't want to take the risk and get a knock-off.1 -
Well this is a loaded question 🤣🤷🏾♂️1

Trying on old outfits when I was at ideal weight. Feels great and motivational!2
