Hello Erica, start with avoiding any added sugar in your nutrition. Also industrial food where they add a huge amount of salt and sugar (= fat & cellulite), white bread.
Cook your meals by yourself, using olive oil. You will find good proteins in low fat fish, chicken (without the skin), and also in a good amount of vegetables and nuts (almonds...). On the internet you can find a list of ingredients with low fat, high proteins.
