one of my friends is in maryland and felt it. they're saying it hit virginia directly...that's crazy, i hope nothing too crazy happened..these tectonic plates need to stop being so affectionate..0

Yea son - over here in Connecticut. I'm still laughing at the people who won't come back in the building.. HAHAHA! One saying "was that crack there before?" Just a little jostle that lasted no more than a minute, but it was coooool0

Indianapolis stations are reporting that it was felt all the way here too. I didn't feel anything but a ton of people are commenting on the news saying that it was strong enough here to knock pictures off walls. I did see there was one similar in CO last night.
Hope that doesn't mean the long overdue New Madrid fault I'm on may be getting ready. :noway:0 -

Not sure but before I saw all the posts I felt my couch rock and thought it was my fat cat walking on it but when I turned around he was sound asleep. It was strange and I'm near T.O so not sure if what I felt was the earthquake or not.0

I am in Detroit, MI and we felt it here in our building and it's only a 2 story building. Crazy!0

My parents in MD right outside of DC definitely felt it and went running outside. They said some stuff fell off the walls but otherwise they are OK. They said it was crazy... lasted at least 30 seconds.0

Felt it in DC. I work in a government building, so I immediately assumed it was a terrorist attack and there were only moments before the building would surely collapse in flames. So I did what any self-preserving man would do, and trampled everyone in my path out building, including women and children.0
