36 - No Way

I've been heavy all my life. Wore huskies when I was a kid. I don't think I was under 200 pounds since 7th. or 8th. grade but I was always active and managed to keep within a range of 230 to 240. As I got older the weight kept getting put on and topped at at 280 and I had trouble closing size 44 pants. I did a lot of traveling for work, ate fast food for lunch, and took clients out in the evening for dinner. I've been with MFP for over 8 years and although I miss an occasional log in I pretty much recorded everything I ate, both good and bad.
When I retired 6 years ago, I had the opportunity to change my lifestyle. Go to the gym regularly, do a lot of gardening, and keep active. My weight has been a seesaw in that I might take off 15 pounds and put back 10 of it. MFP helped keep track of the changes and when I put the weight back on I would go back to really watching carefully what I consumed and take it off again.
It's been a long road, but for the first time that I can remember, I logged in at less than 200 lbs. I went shopping this morning....................the size 36 pants are perfect!
