So pleased I've managed to lose weight because I have arthritis in knees and hips and am virtually housebound - no exercise I'm afraid. I've got a lot more weight to lose but will keep going.
I've also dropped 4 dress sizes.

If you dont mind can you tell me what you did to do this. I am in almost the same situation with arthritis getting worse and worse and have dropped my calories to less than 1400 a day and yet I dont seem to be moving the scale. Thank you!

I'm on 1800 calories a day, I log everything, and don't weight myself too often. I sometimes don't lose weight for 3 or 4 weeks then lose about 5 pounds. If I go over calories on one day, I stay under on the next.

I see a dietician every few months to make sure that I'm managing OK. The dietician advised 1800 calories based on my weight.

Good luck with your weight loss journey.

Pahla B does seated cardio exercises (along with a whole host of others) starting from just 10 minutes. Worth a look to see if they may help.

@jbhartzell4214 that is good news. Due to the arthritis walking was hard for me but now I can walk much better. Too much exercising is a bad thing for some of us. Best of continued success.
