I recently turned 45 and I'm trying to lose the extra weight I put on over the years. It's not as easy as it used to be when I was 25 and wood cut out bread for a month and drop 10 pounds!
I would love to partner with any other women over the age of 40 trying to lose weight and become more healthy in this new phase of life. It may be challenging, but I know it's totally doable!
I have 45 lbs to lose and would love a group to hold me accountable encourage me, and to give me a chance to encourage others :-)

Its no different losing weight in our 40s than in our 20s actually. At 42 I said enough was enough with yo yo dieting for years and trying to lose weight for the millionth time - this app has been key to me losing the weight I needed to and keeping it off. I'm in my 6th year of maintaining my goal range weight so what I always say is: if I can, anyone can
All the best.
Drop me a friend request as I'm always happy to motivate/encourage.

Same age here. I used to stay the same weight regardless of what I ate but my weight has been increasing over the past year as my poor habits have gotten worse. Any suggestions for combatting sugar cravings? I logged today's foods and although I am 560 kcal short of my calorie total, I went 10 grams over on my sugar and 2 grams on fat. I didn't think I had really eaten anything "sweet!"0

It doesn't matter if you eat sweet things or not to be honest, its all about the calories and being in calorie deficit,i.e eating less calories than you burn. People have this sense they have to cut out foods to lose but the science is just Calories in<Calories out.
I would be more concerned about you being under your calories by 560. And don't worry about the macros ie the fat/sugar etc, they are just minimum guidelines set up by the app.0
