i didn't think i would have to do it, but i was coming home so tired from my new job that i figure i must be burning quite a bit...
it's a cashier/sales associate job in a local art and craft store i was wondering if anyone has found a good reference for calories burned for this sort of thing?
at the moment i'm using "fishing standing on shore" for my calories, but that appears strangely on my diary, since i rarely actually fish lol
i'll probably stop adding this in once i acclimate to the physical strain from the job, but i do want to add the extra calories just for now so i don't over work myself. any ideas?

It's your LIFESTYLE, you don't log exercise for it. Go to my home / goals / change goals / custom and pick "lightly active" for your job. Most likely it will only translate to about 200 calories or so. If you don't work everyday, you could log exercise for 200 calories on the day you work. Don't go looking in the database though, 'cause you'll end up eating more than you should and maintaining. Been there done that. I work part-time and when on lightly active, my base calories only go up 200 calories so I just log "work 1 minute 200 cals" on the days I work. Hope this helps.

I'd suggest changing from sedentary to active/lightly active to account for the change in jobs.

sonds good. i looked it up on other sites and seems to translate to about 60 cals in 60 mins, so i may possibly log as such, but yeah its on'y like 2 or 3 times a week so a lifestyle change isn't what i want...
i never really eat back all my calories anyway, just wanted some wiggle room for days i feel i need the extra fuel.

and to actually see what i'm burning lol
