Hello people!

I'm wondering how can I add a specific weight to foods when I add products I used in my diary. I also downloaded nutracheck and they have this feature. I'm trying to figure out which one to get a membership for.

How are you managing to add foods to your diary without specifying how many portions you're adding?

For a food where the 'portion' is a weight, the number of portions is the specific weight. For example, if I add 'Apple, 100g' and specify 0.8 portions, my diary correctly shows 80g of apple.

I tend to find accurate entries that provide a '1g' serving increment. This way if I have say 238g of chicken thigh I can select the 1g entry and enter 238 servings.

Someone once pointed me to this thread about logging accurately - https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide. Lots of good information on Page 1, but you might be interested in reading through the whole 26 pages!!
