Recommitting - again

Hello
I'm new to the MFP community, though technically I've had an account for years. I'm on a looooong weight loss journey - was 52 pounds heavier back in 2011. Been mostly down since then, but sometimes back up. This is one of those times. Someday, I may even hit my goal weight, which is about 60 pounds away.
Current plan: behaving on weekdays with a 1250 calorie allotment (plus half of my exercise), and loosening the reins a bit on weekends (2000 calories Fridays and Sundays, 2500 Saturdays)
My main motivation is my knee arthritis. It got worse when I regained 15 pounds due to a lot of work stress. I'll be retiring in a few months, so work is no longer stressing me like it was.
hoping to log in here on weekdays when I need to be told to step away from the fridge!
