I have only eaten 901 calories today. I didn't mean to do that but it's almost midnight and i didn't even eaten 1000 calories. that's insane. I left too much time between my morning snack and lunch, then i went to work and realized i didn't really eat lunch. i had bad meal planning today. =/
my question is, should i have something small right now to at least make up for some calories esp since im kinda hungry, or just brush my teeth and go to bed?
i think a bowl of cereal would be okay even if it's late...

If your hungry, then your body will digest the foods just fine. Like you said, I would go for something small that won't make you feel like you just ate way too much and something that is going to be delicious to you! If you have the calories left and your body is saying "I want more" then listen to it. I was in the same boat yesterday, but I had almost 800 left and my body was telling me nooo more! So I just didn't eat and today I ate about 100 calories over.
You may have a hard time sleeping if your body is hungry and like mentioned above it will digest as long as you don't over do it!

I think it would help if you ate a bowl of cereal to avoid "starvation mode" but if you don't want to that's ok too. I've been there a few times lol.0

I don't know what your typical caloric output is, but a person can safely have a daily deficit of 1000 calories, if they have a high quality nutritional supplement. If you're tired and don't feel hungry, your body won't be worse off while you sleep. In fact, the less you're digesting, the more your body can focus it's energy on repairing and renewing cells and tissue. You'll be fine.0

I was on calorieking for a while, and they had a few things to read about calorie intake. They said that counting calories was good, but that you wanted to eat at least 1200 in a day, otherwise your metabolism slows and your body will begin to store fat. Just wanted to share that with everyone.
