65 and ready to get healthy!

I started using myfitnesspal app yesterday and love it! I am hoping to keep in my calorie range and increase activity. Lots to explore. Wish me luck!

    Go for it! It is never too late to gift yourself with healthy ways. 74 here. Started with MFP (for real) 7+ months ago. Down 50 pounds (now in maintenance) and feel absolutely great. Best wishes!!

    Hi, good luck, you will find plenty of advice and support here on mfp. I started in July 2018 and have lost 45lbs - just reaching my goal. 68 years old and only 5' 1". I found it really useful to learn to track some of the macros. I track calcium - to ward off osteoporosis - and protein - to help build muscles. Both are essential as you get older and as a shorty I have minimal calories to play with, so it is really helpful to see them.
