I'm a WW member (lifetime) but I prefer to use this app to track rather than the WW one.
- The most important thing to keep in mind when using MFP is there are no "zero point foods" you need to count ALL calories. Using a digital scale to weigh your food will make this 100x easier.
- The WW point system tries to steer you towards protein and away from saturated fat and refined sugar, with MFP its just the calories and you need to turn your phone sideways (or look at the bottom of the webpage) to see how much protein you are getting etc.
- If you have an step tracker (either an app or device) you should link it to MFP. MFP is designed so you eat back the exercise calories (WW fitpoints are optional)
- There are no weekly points so if you want save extra calories to eat on the weekends etc. you need to keep track of that yourself.
Hope this helps!0
