So excited when I got the mail to find my HRM I ordered a week or so ago. I got the Polar FT4 and am definitely impressed! The watch is a lot comfier than I had thought and is somewhat ingeniously designed. This may be a weird thing to notice but there is a litte nodule attached to the buckle on the watch that really secures it from sliding undone.
Also, I used it while working out with my Wii and burned way more calories than the game usually estimates I do. This will definitely be motivation to work out !

I just got a Polar FT7 and I also like that little notch that helps the watch stay secure :]
I am not sure if mine is working properly because it said my heart rate went all the way up to 168! And I know I didn't feel like it was...Maybe I am wearing my chest band incorrectly?
Any ideas?

168 is feasible ... I once got up to 180 in Spin0 -

Mine got up to 160 today and it wasn't maximum exertion so that reading for you seems correct!0 -

Definitely this - just got my FT7 this weekend, did my first strength training session with my trainer on monday with it. I've just been using MFP's estimate for those sessions, around 300 cals, after the hour, stopped my watch and I was at 876, heh.0
