“Our findings suggest that it is not too late for adults to become active. These findings are particularly informative for health care professionals advising individuals who have been physically inactive throughout much of their adulthood that substantial health benefits can still be gained by improving their physical activity habits.”

I did not exercise until I was in middle age.

I have a question and I don’t know where to put it. If I play a sport for 10+ hours a week, should I be stretching? And if so, when/how?

Just go to the top of the exercise and fitness subforum and start a new thread.
You will get better responses than posting in this thread.

Be specific with your routine, personal stats and/or restrictions, and goals.

The question as posed leaves little for the advisor to work with.

    Cheers, h.

    Get moving everyone!

Great info, and people should automatically know this.

The biggest cause of immobility is "immobility".

I do at least one activity per day 7 days per week. Even if it's just a 3 mile recovery walk.

I do not want to become one of those people who have fallen and can't get up.

My favorite part of your post is... Get moving everyone!

    :)
