hi friends!
i think i'm going to take the plunge into at-home workout dvds, and i'm torn between chalean extreme and turbo fire? which do you do? which would you recommend?? help!

Do TurboFire and then join us! We just decided to start the plan either this week or next.
Although, I do want to check out chalean extreme after the turbofire adventure. Maybe we could get people together and do that one next?0 -
I have both, but I would probably recommend TurboFire to start with. Great cardio workouts, super fun, but also has a couple strength training dvds.0

I live by TurboFire!! It's intense cardio. ChaLean Extreme will also give you amazing results! If you combine them both - whoa! You'll get the best of both worlds. I'm planning to do TurboFire and ChaLean Extreme my next round. Currently doing P90X and TurboFire hybrid!!0

Do turbo fire since its both intense cardiovascular AND weight lifting. Plus it has burn circuit 1 on one of the dvds so you can see if you like chalene extreme enough to buy.0

You should try P90X. It's a little expensive, but it does work. I've seen AMAZING results from it, and not only by me. You have to be in somewhat of a good shape to use it though. That's the only reason why I've stopped for a while, because I've been injured in an accident. It's very vigorous, but will give you amazing results.0

Depends on what you're looking for in a workout. They're both well rounded programs with both cardio and resistance. Turbo Fire is more focused on cardio conditioning. The workous are mostly dancing/kickboxing stuff. Chalean Extreme is more focused on strength training using heavy weights.
I have both and am currently doing Turbo Fire. When I'm done this round, I intend of doing a Turbo Fire- Chalene Extreme hybrid.0 -

I'm so glad you posted this question because I am having the same dilemma right now! I'm about to finish 30DS next week and Turbo Fire and ChaLEAN Extreme are the two I've been going back and forth on which one I'm doing next. Based on the comments here, I'm thinking I'll do Turbo Fire first. Someone at work told me I would definitely see bigger scale changes sooner with TF than with CLX, but I know that's mostly do the fact that CLX will build a lot more muscle. I do want strength training as well, but I could probably just incorporate extra strength into Turbo Fire. I can't really afford to get both right now, otherwise I'd probably do the hybrid.0
