So my fitness pal is telling me 1300cal a day which im doing well with and ive lost 5lb so far. However someone has told me i should be dividing the calories between different meals and aim for that per meal

example : 200 breakfast
500 lunch
500 tea
100 snacks

can someone point me in right direction??....

As others have said, it's truly personal preference. I'm maintaining my weight and I usually have a bit less than half of my calorie allowance throughout the day until dinner time and I use the rest there since I like to have my largest meal at the end of the day. Other people do best with a larger breakfast or lunch. It truly depends on how you feel.

Dividing up meals might work for that person, but doesn’t do anything for weight loss. People like to give weird advice when you’re losing weight: don’t eat after 9pm, you must eat breakfast, drink apple cider vinegar, etc. It’s all noise. Great job of your loss so far!
